Where are you located?

locational

We are located in Austin, Texas, but frequently travel to California.

We are highly influenced and inspired by our environment, which means we LOVE shooting in new locations!


Do you charge travel fees?

If your wedding is over 60 miles from our home in Central ATX we do charge a travel fee.

To make this simple, we include the travel fee within your collection! We also book all of our travel accommadations ourselves.


If traveling for my wedding, when will you arrive to the wedding location?

We always arrive the morning before the 1st event of your wedding weekend; sometimes even earlier! 

are you a film photographer?

We shoot a combination of film + digital. We edit our digital images to match our film scans!


wHAT IS YOUR WEDDING DAY APPROACH?

We do not take it lightly how significant this day is; that's why we focus so much on preparation. We keep tabs on all the things you've told us you desire, want to avoid + so much more. This ensures that on the wedding day our team is stress-free and feeling inspired.

Our day of approach is a combination of curation and letting things unfold organically. We are fully hands on whenever it comes to portraits, styling + detail oriented tasks. The in between, natural moments are just as important to us. After shooting over 100 weddings we have acquired a 6th sense to anticipating those special candid moments. 

We have a unique + intentional posing process, due to our extensive knowledge on how the body moves. Shelbs + Tay have over 7 years of personal training experience; which gives us an edge when posing our couples.

We are great communicators and team players; which helps us seamlessly collaborate with your other vendors. 

You can expect us to keep the party going, calm your nerves and hype you two up all day.

DO YOU WORK WITH A 2ND photographer?

PHOTOgraphy

Yes; always!

If Shelbs isn't booked for video, she is the 2nd photographer.

If Shelbs isn't available then we hire one of our trusted and talented photographers in our small network. We work with a circle of photographers that align with our brand morals, shooting style + have personally worked with us before.


what does the album design process look like?

We offer handcrafted albums using the finest archival materials.

You can choose from the following sizes; 10x10, 12x12 or 6x6 parent albums available with the purchase of full size albums. 

After your wedding you will select your favorite images. We'll use a combination of those images + important story telling imagery to create a custom story.

After you approve of the design proofs the album will go into production!

*You can add an album into your collection or purchase albums later.  

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I GET?

We prioritize the quality of images over the quantity! 

That being said the amount of images vary depending on how many hours of coverage you book part of the day and the flow of the day. We typically provide 60 - 100 images per hour. 


Do you offer videography?

Videography

Yes! We are excited to announce that we are now offering Videography to 2024 wedding clients and event/portrait videography to 2023 clients + beyond. 

Shelbs is the lead videographer whenever you book Tay Danay for video. After being the 2nd photographer for years; she is able to seamlessly create beautiful films that align with the Tay Danay style.

When wILL I REceive our film?

You'll receive preview film 24-48 hours after your wedding day. On average you will receive your full film 8-10 weeks after your wedding date!


Do you capture maternity, newborns or seniors?

Yes! We take on a limited amount of portrait sessions per year as the majority of our time is spent on shooting and preparing for engagements + weddings.
